Antivirus Performance Testing - 2009 Results
June 18, 2009 by AntivirusWare.We have just finished and compiled our Antivirus Performance Testing for 2009. So how did the various Antivirus programs fair? One of the major surprises this year is Norton Antivirus’ dominance in our performance testing. Norton 2009 was head and shoulders above its competition - a testament to the attention Symantec at last seems to be giving its software’s performance.
Other top Antivirus programs that we tested include: NOD32 Antivirus (2nd), Avira AntiVir Premium (3rd), Avast AntiVirus Professional (4th), and rounding out our Top-5 list is Kaspersky Antivirus.
