F-Secure AntiVirus 2009 - bottom of its class

Just when we thought things couldn’t get much worse after reviewing Trend Micro Antivirus last week… along came F-Secure. Not sure where to start with this program as it was bad in almost every respect. F-Secure AntiVirus may have tested slightly better than Trend Micro 2009 in our performance tests, however, its Effectiveness at detecting Viruses and other Malware was the worst of any Antivirus program that we reviewed this year.
Our review of F-Secure 2009 (see screenshots of F-Secure) found that it didn’t score higher than 2.5/5.0 in any category — and received an overall score of only 2.0/5.0. We don’t know anyone that should feel secure by “F-Secure“. In fact, we’d recommend free Antivirus software like AVG or Avast, or if you’d prefer a better paid antivirus alternative check out one of our Top 3 antivirus programs: Norton Anti Virus, NOD32 Anti Virus, or Kaspersky Anti Virus.
