USB Sticks Spreading Viruses

Many people use USB sticks to take their files and move them from computer to computer. They use them to easily transfer what they need. USB sticks are incredible easy to use; you simply plug it into your computer, move your files to it, and remove it. You then move the USB stick to another computer and open up your files on that computer. The process is incredibly simple, and effective. Unfortunately, because of this ease, spreading viruses has now become simple and effective through use of a USB stick.
Many people will not be able to figure out if a virus is attached to some of the files that they are trying to move. They may move a hidden file, or they may simply intend to give a virus to a specific computer. USB sticks are an incredibly easy way to do so, as the virus can be transferred both on and off of the USB stick without causing a problem to the actual technology of the stick. While many will not have issues with this, there is a possibility that it could happen, which means that people should always be careful as to what USB sticks go into their computers, both public or private.
