Online banking, like many other online services, works to fulfill the interests of individuals who like to have one-stop shopping type experiences on their computer. Although there are many risks associated with using online banking, many people still swear by the services they can transact online. Transferring funds between accounts, setting up automatic bill payments and even managing external investments are all possibilities with online banking.
All of the aforementioned transactions can be conducted through a traditional banking experience but without the convenience and privacy that online banking offers. It should be understand that this brand of convenience is not without its challenges. Online banking can be subject to computer glitches, computer viruses and other security breaches, and individual human error. However, for those who swear by banking from the privacy of their computer, the only choice is online banking.
