Viruses and Macs
September 28, 2008 by Antivirus Ware.comWhen people think of computer, they think of the viruses, spyware, and other various eSecurity issues that may arise. While most of the people who deal with these things have PCs, those with Macs should also be cautious.
While this may seem like an obvious and unneeded warning, it is far from it. People who have Macs tend to be lax on eSecurity simply because they have learned about the difference between the two computer types. Macs simply do not have virus issues; the code has been built differently which helps against virus attacks. There are also less viruses simply because less have been created to attack these computers, as there are far less of them on the market.
Those who have Macs should still be aware of the issues that they may face. Just because Macs are less susceptible to viruses and spyware does not mean that they are completely immune. There is also human error involved when talking about attacks on eSecurity; visiting the wrong websites can slow your computer down and may simply hand out any personal information that you feed into them. If you are someone who has a Mac, you should seriously consider your eSecurity options, like having good anti virus software on your computer, because eSecurity goes farther than viruses and spyware, which is what Mac users should be thinking about.
