Screenshot #1: The Norton AntiVirus 2012 Dashboard has been condensed down to three major UI commands: Scan Now, LiveUpdate, and Advanced. The configuration options previously available on the main Dashboard are now available by selecting the Advanced command.

Screenshot #2: The Advanced tab provides fast access to the most common advanced configuration options in Norton AntiVirus 2012. Additional configuration options are located underneath the Settings command in the upper right hand corner (Screenshot 6).

Screenshot #3: A QR code (which can be scanned using a cell camera and a QR reader) provides quick access to Norton Mobile Security for Android smart phones.

Screen Shot #4: Download Insight now reports not only on the safety of an executable, but on its stability - i.e., the likelihood that it will crash.

Screenshot #5: Metered Network Settings allows users to throttle or prohibit Norton-related downloads when using the Internet over a metered connection, such as a 3G/4G network card or a smart phone tether.

Screenshot #6: Norton AntiVirus uses both dual-state and tri-state buttons for manual configuration of anti-virus activity. Users can enable additional features for increased virus protection, or disable current features for increased system performance.
