Screenshot #1: The NOD32 AntiVirus 5 Dashboard looks like its predecessor at first glimpse, but contains a number of improvements - the Frequently Used Commands list, the Protection icon, breadcrumbs, and the elimination of Advanced mode - that set it apart from previous versions.

Screenshot #2: NOD32 users can choose between several Scan types: Smart Scan, In-Depth Scan, and Context Scan.

Screenshot #3: The Update window displays the last time and date that the virus definition database was updated, alongside other information about production activation. It's mostly useless, and deserves to be demoted to a command in the Protection icon menu or the Settings window.

Screen Shot #4: NOD32 provides one-click activation/deactivation of the simplest features, and a rich Advanced Settings dialog for fine-tuned configuration.

Screenshot #5: The Tools menu hides a host of goodies, including a Statistics window, an Activity monitor, and a Rescue CD generator.
